About Mirror, Inc – Newton Residential and Outpatient Facility

Mirror - Newton Outpatient and Residential Facility is located in Newton, Kansas. The organization provides behavioral health services while specializing in substance use disorders. Medicaid is accepted. If you’re uninsured, you won’t be denied treatment. They will help you pay for treatment through local, state and federal grant funds

Adults 18 years and older are able to receive treatment for addiction and mental health at this location. To determine the best level of care, you will undergo an assessment. The assessment will let the staff know where you are currently at in your recovery, your medical history and substance use history. It will also help them identify your individual strengths, vulnerabilities and needs.

Treatment will begin once the best level of care is determined for you. Their residential treatment provides 24 hour care. Through counseling and therapy, you will receive the necessary tools to manage your life physically, behaviorally and mentally.

I like that, in therapy, you will go over relapse prevention. By completing relapse prevention planning, you will be prepared for high risk situations that could be a challenge to your recovery. In conjunction with therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available if needed.

They use MAT as a clinical treatment for alcohol and opioid use disorders. The medications will ease any withdrawal symptoms and cravings, allowing you to focus on your treatment.

Once you complete residential treatment, you will be able to participate in their outpatient program as a step-down service. You will still attend individual and group therapy while in their intensive outpatient program (IOP). Sessions are attended three or more times per week for a total of nine to 15 hours per week.
