About Midwest Institute for Addiction

A trusted resource for people with drug and alcohol addiction in Liberty, Missouri, is the Midwest Institute for Addiction. It’s part of the Sana Lake network. This Kansas City area rehab offers a graduated range of outpatient treatment for addiction recovery.

This means your treatment will change with you as you progress through your recovery. You might start with their outpatient detox and then once you’re stabilized you’ll move into their partial hospitalization program that has 18+ hours of treatment per week. As you progress you’ll move into their intensive program with 6-9 hours of treatment per week and, eventually, you’ll be ready for their general outpatient treatment.

What I find most interesting and impressive about this rehab is the holistic quality of life approach they take. Throughout your treatment they don’t just treat your addiction directly, but they also combine it with mental health and medical care. With their quality-of-life approach, they don’t just want to help you get sober. They help you create a fulfilling sober life with a positive future ahead so you don’t feel an absence with the removal of drugs and alcohol.
