Mental Health Systems DUI Program–Pegasus is a drug and alcohol rehab for justice-involved youth and adults in San Bernardino. They provide outpatient treatment and supportive housing programs, including dedicated services for underage clients and multiple DUI/DWI offenders.

Clients engage in intensive recovery education aligned with clients’ unique needs and court-mandated requirements. DUI education classes are state and federally certified and address topics such as reckless and wet driving. The program emphasizes recovery-focused life skills training to address the root causes of addiction and may encompass subjects relating to coping, resilience, decision-making, emotional regulation, wellness, anger and stress management, frustration tolerance, and relapse prevention. Program instructors and administrators assist with court compliance and mandated reporting.

The program accepts referrals from local, state, and federal courts, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and community-based programs. Self-referrals are also accepted. Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include 12 step program facilitation and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs. They are licensed by the state of California. Payment options include private insurance, Medi-Cal, financial aid, and self-pay. Free and low cost services are available.
