Their opioid treatment program (OTP) combines substance abuse counseling and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The MAT program is split into three phases: induction, stabilization, and maintenance.
The induction phase will be where you receive your first dose of buprenorphine or methadone. The stabilization phase will be where counseling and other services will be available for you to enhance your life and maintain focus as you continue to experience minimal side effects relating to chemical dependency. The maintenance phase will focus on how to maintain life in recovery, achieving treatment goals, and developing coping skills to handle triggers and how to prevent a relapse.
What caught my eye is the multifaceted supportive services available during the time of receiving treatment at MedMark. Receiving outpatient treatment allows you to have more flexibility in developing a weekly schedule for treatment and maintaining other commitments.
