About Matt Talbot Day Center

The Matt Talbot Center is an intensive outpatient drug rehab facility in Seattle, Washington. They offer their services completely free of charge for adult members over 18. Their program is made up of four chunks that can take clients a year or more to complete. If you’re in the greater Seattle area and dealing with homelessness, mental illness or addiction, they can help.

Many intensive outpatient programs only last 9-12 weeks. I love that this center gives clients enough time to really embody their sobriety before the end of the course. While the program is designed to take a year, clients can go at a slower pace if they need to. The first phase meets 5 days a week for 5-6 hours each day. As you progress, you’ll work on becoming more independent. They also offer hot meals, activities like art and yoga as well as field trips.

One of the best things about this facility is that they offer wraparound care. Staff will help clients navigate the complex systems and jump through hoops to get the services they need. This may include help with getting a job, housing or getting back to your loved ones.
