About Lund Residential Treatment

Located in South Burlington, Vermont, the Lund Family Center is a community resource center offering adoption, addiction treatment, and family support services. They’re a full service adoption agency and provide an early childhood education program. This location has outpatient (OP) addiction treatment and mental health services for adults, children, and families. Clinical group treatment and individual therapy sessions make up the drug rehab services.

Outpatient treatment includes an outreach program for children affected by parent substance misuse by increasing access to treatment and engagement services. These services include on-the-spot substance abuse screenings and referrals for the parents.

Treatment services are integrated and family focused. First you’ll undergo a comprehensive substance use assessment and mental health evaluation. Then you’ll create an individualized treatment plan that will include a combination of individual, group, and family therapy. While in treatment you may receive random drug urinalysis. Treatment also includes peer support and after care counseling sessions.

This outpatient treatment program is supported by the United Way of Northwest Vermont. Programming can help you address all barriers and challenges that you may face while navigating recovery.

Another note about the Lund Family Center is that they offer residential addiction treatment for pregnant and parenting women in another location in Vermont.

People who’ve received treatment at the Lund Family Center say it’s a wonderful place that creates miracles for women who need them. Another person said that they are very helpful with a variety of services. Others say they love what this organization is about.
