About Lehigh County Drug & Alcohol

In Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, this county drug and alcohol organization offers local support and resources to people recovering from substance abuse. It’s a government organization that manages and allocates funds to services that combat addiction. They’ll support you and the community through treatment, prevention, and intervention services.

Recently Lehigh County opened three local treatment centers that provide inpatient and outpatient treatment. Programs are for adults and adolescents. I really like that they also offer self help meetings like AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, and Refuge Recovery. Al anon and Families Obtaining Recovery Together (FORT) offer support for families of people affected by addiction.

Another interesting part about Lehigh County Drug & Alcohol is the prescription drug take back program. You can bring your unused prescription drugs and drop them off to keep the community safer from overdose.
