One thing I think was great about this facility’s location was that it was only a half hour away from Seattle, Washington. After treatment sessions, clients were able to enjoy attractions that the city had to offer, such as riding on The Seattle Great Wheel or visiting the Woodland Park Zoo.

Equipping Clients With Recovery Tools

In the outpatient programs, the staff members focused on helping clients gain recovery tools through individual and group therapy. The topics that were discussed in these sessions included life skills training and relapse education.

The life skills that counselors may have helped clients develop were coping skills, identifying triggers and stress management. I liked that addiction specialists were ready to help clients achieve long term recovery with a plan that consisted of check ins, drug tests and regular NA or AA meetings.
