About Kenosha Human Development Services
Kenosha Human Development Services is a nonprofit that seeks to provide community support to those in need. You'll find 'em located out in Kenosha, Washington. Behavioral health and addiction treatment services are available to adults aged 18 and older. They accept plenty of insurance plans, including Badgercare, Medicare, and Medicaid.
They've been supporting its community for over 50 years. With over 40 programs covering a range of different services, they are proud to be a reliable and consistent beacon of care in their community.
In terms of the support they provide for substance abuse, there are a few different programs available. There are their crisis case management services designed to help people recovering from mental health or substance abuse issues. These services provide life skills training, mentoring, and guidance to those in need. They can also support individuals in accessing community and picking up independent living skills to prep them for life post-treatment as they transition into independent or semi-independent living.
Their Sunrise Clinic is a hub for behavioral health care, providing consultations and ongoing treatment for those in need. This clinic is integrated with their other behavioral services for a seamless experience. Support is personalized to meet clients’ unique needs, with an emphasis on holistic care that addresses various elements of people’s wellbeing.
Their community support program offers clients access to a network of coordinated care, with people at the center. In this way, the goal is to improve their quality of life while helping them manage mental health symptoms, and other unhealthy behaviors that may come with that. The team on this program are dedicated to providing clients with opportunities to learn new skills and promoting self-direction to help them move forwards in their recovery.
The KARE Center provides a safe and comfortable environment for individuals needing to stabilize or detox, or even those who just need space to figure out their next steps. Featuring 16 beds, this community-based residential facility is a fully staffed safe haven for those in need. Since it works in tandem with their crisis intervention services, it’s also licensed to provide intoxication monitoring services.
