About Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center

Based in Jackson, Wyoming, Mental Health & Recovery Services of Jackson Hole is a CARF-accredited facility offering compassionate mental health and substance use services to clients of all ages.

Founded almost 50 years ago, locals have been trusting this center for its professional and affordable counseling services for quite a while now. Free initial consultations are available, with appointments usually lasting around 50 minutes. Depending on the outcome of said consultation, clients may go on to access a variety of treatment programs and services. It may be that they just take part in one of their many awareness classes or addiction education courses. They may be referred to local residential care services for more severe cases.

Otherwise, the center’s intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient programs may be what they’re looking for. IOP features separate programs for men, women, and teens. Group sessions for these are held daily, along with individual therapy, and case management services as needed. Participants can also expect social and life skills sessions, as well as other educational classes covering anger and stress management, grief and loss, as well as relapse prevention. 12-step and SMART recovery meetings are also available.

The integrated wellness program is also an option for clients in IOP, and is a course that lasts six weeks and features meditation and mindfulness techniques, a personalized 10-panel blood draw and medical review, as well as education about the connection between mental and physical health.

State-certified DUI education programs and aftercare programs and services are also provided, with sessions also available in Spanish. If you feel like unwinding and cleaning your mind, the National Elk Refuge and the entrance to Crystal Butte Trailhead are a couple of blocks away.
