About New Horizon Care Centers Isabella House

New Horizon’s Isabella House is a drug and alcohol residential treatment center located in Spokane, Washington. They provide treatment to women with children as well as women who are pregnant and are struggling with co-occurring and substance abuse disorders. Some of the services available here include therapy, employment skills, parenting programs, and therapeutic childcare.

In regards to covering the costs of treatment they accept Medicaid, Indian Health Services, and offer flexible private payment options.

Their residential treatment lasts up to six months and during this time you will be working with therapists, and medical staff to help you get the healing you need for your and your family. They will help you with developing a treatment plan to help you achieve your treatment goals as well as assisting with recovery support, and employment.

Their parenting program will consist of developing structure, forming a healthy relationship with your children, understanding your child's emotional and mental health, and help reduce the stressors of being a parent. This can encourage positive interaction with your child and more importantly help learn to manage challenging behaviors in a more holistic approach.

The therapeutic child care program can help support the overall well being and child development of your child who could have been affected from exposure to drugs or alcohol. This program will discuss and assist with topics like self-esteem building, family intervention, and involve play therapy.

Your child will also have individual counseling available to them so your child can heal as well. A developmental assessment will be completed to identify how to assist your child combat any potential hurdles that could be affecting their wellbeing. Social interaction, behavioral modification, and strengthening communication skills are some of the many ways this program will help set your kids up for success and help the family rebuild as a unit.
