About Home of Grace Mens Campus
Home of Grace Men's Campus is a residential treatment facility located on 30 acres of beautiful green hills off the scenic Bluff Creek in Vancleave, Mississippi. They offer treatment to men over the age of 18 who are struggling with substance use disorder (SUD). They are a faith-based facility and offer a range of different services including individual counseling, group therapy, parenting skills class, worship services, money management classes and an adult education program.
As a small, unincorporated town in Jackson County, Vancleave is a great place to begin your recovery. It offers a serene, peaceful respite from city life and allows you to get back to nature as you heal. When you leave treatment, you’ll have access to the town’s many small businesses, historical sites and highly-rated schools.
Until then, you can enjoy life on the men’s campus, which is designed to strengthen you physically, mentally and spiritually. Residential treatment can last anywhere from 30 days to 12 months.
Worship services will be part of your weekly schedule. This can help improve your spiritual walk with your higher power. The service can encourage you to engage with your peers who are on the same journey as you and who have similar beliefs. This can help you feel like part of a community. Time in worship can also reduce stress and improve your faith.
I like that they also offer parenting classes here. These classes cover a variety of different topics that can help strengthen your relationship with your children as you pursue recovery. You’ll learn about child development, cognitive brain function, building healthy boundaries and discipline. This can give you an opportunity to heal and create a safe space for your child and help them feel comfortable talking to you.
They also offer adult education programs. These can help you strengthen your computer skills and also allow you to work toward your high school diploma or GED. This can encourage you to continue moving forward and consider what career you would like or if you would want to attend college.
