Located in Colby, Kansas, High Plains Mental Health Center is a licensed community behavioral health clinic. They offer a range of outpatient services for people with mental illness, substance use disorder or in crisis. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) and recovery support planning are a part of addiction treatment. Community based support services like psychosocial rehab, case management and respite home services are also provided by High Plains.

High Plains is the only regional provider for community based support services. Team members provide these services out in the community where people live, work and play. This could include case management, respite care, family support, and psychosocial rehab.

One former client of High Plains thanks the staff for helping them navigate abuse and trauma. They said without High Plains they wouldn’t have been able to heal and tell their story to spread awareness. Another person said their experience here changed their life for the better.
