About Heartland Mens Recovery Program
Located in La Belle, Missouri, Heartland Recovery Programs - Men's Program is a faith based addiction treatment center for men struggling with addiction. Offering residential drug and alcohol rehab, discipleship, and skill development.
Established in 1995, Heartland's Men's Program is a Jesus centered men’s residential facility built around a local church campus. Situated in a private location surrounded by pastures and a lake, Heartland's Men's Program is a 12 month structured program divided into two phases. Phase one helps residents understand their situation and the “opportunity of salvation through the Gospel,” and in phase two residents can apply biblical principles and practical life skills to be “effective members of society.” The program includes daily discipleship, chores, relationship reconciliation, self examination, and a Christian worldview education.
The staff at Heartland’s Men’s program are those who consider themselves redeemed by Jesus Christ and hold the experience, ability, and passion to support those still struggling. The process of residency is to read their program prospectus, apply through the online application, participate in an interview, and if successful undergo a drug test and physical. Heartland will not accept those formerly incarcerated until after three months of release, or those who take psychotropic and/or antidepressants.
Heartland's Men's Program is a 12 month program that is free of charge to residents. Costs are covered through fundraising and investments.
