About Haymarket Center
Serving the city of Chicago, Illinois, Haymarket Center Administration Offices is a federally qualified health center and behavioral health organization. They offer a range of services like addiction treatment, mental health support, detox and primary care. They offer inpatient and outpatient programs, including specialized treatment for pregnant and parenting women. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) and a DUI Risk Education Program are other resources available here.
Residential programs are offered for men and women. On the men’s side they have separate units for rapid stabilization, transition to recovery and fathers. The women’s side has individual units for opioid addiction, maternal addiction and co-occurring disorders. In the maternal addiction treatment hall, women can bring up to two of their children under the age of five to stay with them. While you’re in treatment, the children attend onsite childcare and developmental services.
Outpatient programs include an intensive outpatient program (IOP), a standard outpatient program and a DUI program. The IOP provides nine or more hours of group and individual counseling per week. These sessions are spread out over three to five days. MAT is also offered in these levels of care.
Within the detox unit, you’ll stay short term and receive around the clock medical care. This 16 bed unit monitors physical symptoms and administers medication to ensure you stay comfortable during the withdrawal process.
One happy previous client said the love and care of the Haymarket Center community allowed him to live to see another day. Another person said they’ve tried several programs, and this was their favorite inpatient stay.
