About Harris House Traditional Housing Program
Located in St. Louis, MO, Harris House Transitional Housing Program is a drug and alcohol rehab and transitional house resource. This is a program that helps recent inpatient addiction treatment graduates with subsidized housing, nutritional meals, and individual and group counseling.
The transitional housing level one program provides ongoing alcohol and drug addiction treatment. Classes help clients develop insight into navigating triggers, and discuss topics like anger management, trauma recovery, stress management, parenting skills, and family reunification. Additionally, they learn resume preparation, job targeting, and interview skills.
The transitional housing level two program provides subsidized housing with separate male and female residences. No meals are included, however, residents learn how to prepare food on their own. Residents must be employed when they enter this program and meet with their counselor once a month.
