About Harbel Community Organization
Harbel Prevention and Recovery Center treats adults and adolescents suffering from alcohol and drug abuse through outpatient treatment in Baltimore, Maryland. Their intensive outpatient program is designed to provide an intense, structured setting for individuals with a lengthy history of use. They also support people who have been recent discharged from detox or inpatient treatment. They offer both group and individual therapy sessions.
Fewer than nine hours a week are dedicated to their outpatient services. Their DUI/DWI program satisfies treatment requirements mandated by the court. They offer drug testing services in addition to drug and alcohol awareness programs. Additionally, they offer letters of completion attesting to your fulfillment of treatment requirements. They accept Medicare Medicaid and a few private insurance plans. The Commission on Accreditation for Health Care has granted them accreditation.
Prior to starting treatment at this facility, clinical evaluations will be scheduled for every single client.
One of their certified professionals will conduct a thorough clinical evaluation as the first step. Following the evaluation, the individual and the counselor will develop a treatment plan and referrals for suitable ancillary services will be given.
They request that every client taking part in one of their programs submit to a random drug test. In order to obtain comprehensive information on various substances including the concentrations of each substance detected in the sample, they employ drug screening techniques and labs. They also offer cutting edge services for individuals in need of medication assistance treatment if necessary.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays they also host adolescent IOP groups. You could also have individual counseling sessions with your counselor on certain days. On weekends there are no IOP groups. Your counselor will educate you on how to live a healthy and fulfilling life without abusing alcohol or other drugs. The duration of your individualized treatment plan may differ depending on your drug use history, treatment history, attendance consistency and progress.
