About Glenwood Life Counseling Center

Glenwood Life Counseling Center is an urban medication assisted treatment non profit program located in Baltimore, Maryland. They provide therapy, case management, education, medication and recovery services.

They serve more than 400 clients along with their families every year. They have been operating continuously since 1971. They have a CARF and state of Maryland certified ambulatory opioid agonist treatment program.

Their medical staff is trained and consists of licensed addictions professionals who carefully monitor and evaluate all the patients for the use of medication like methadone. They provide expert individual counseling.

Each patient is assigned a primary counselor responsible to ensure that you get the support, counseling, and resources you require for recovery.

I really like that they provide assistance with housing applications such as shelters, “section 8" application and listings, assisted living facilities, and transitional or recovery housing.

Their IOP services offer daily groups that include symptom management, coping and self-management skills, life skills, gender specific health, trauma, relationship and family skills, relapse prevention, illicit substance use recovery plans, and assisted living facilities.
