The treatment team’s philosophy is that everyone can develop their sense of dignity and worth to transform their lives and live as a responsible contributing member of society. They help you set realistic goals to grow through a holistic approach that treats the physical, spiritual and emotional sides of yourself.
Outpatient services start with an assessment to determine the level of care you need. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) meets from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and is most appropriate for medically stable clients. You’ll participate in individual and group counseling and substance use education programming.
The center has several specialty programs to customize treatment. For instance, many health professionals, such as pharmacists, doctors, dentists, and nurses, have mental health and substance use issues related to their professional practice. Treatment often has to satisfy special requirements for professionals to be admitted back to their practice. The treatment programs at this facility help you work on a focused recovery that satisfies monitoring by licensure boards. If you have a dual diagnosis, you’ll also participate in specialized groups that include psychiatric consultations and follow up.
The facility programs are approved by the Ohio State Dental Board and the Ohio State Medical Board. They work with Employee Assistance Programs, other professional assistance programs and licensure boards. The programs are gender responsive and understand the cultural biases surrounding gender and addiction. They also offer family education services. Plus, after completion of their programs, Ohio residents have access to continuing care services.
