About For All Seasons Inc
Four Seasons in Denton, Maryland is a community focused organization that provides a variety of mental health services and resources to children, adults and families across the state's Eastern seaboard and the surrounding region.
Despite Maryland being an incredibly resourceful state, For All Seasons stands out to me because it's the only behavioral health facility that also acts as a rape crisis center serving residents in the eastern part of the state. They have dedicated programs here if you are experiencing challenges with your mental health especially if those struggles have been brought on by or have led you to substance use.
There are various evidence based therapies and you’ll have access to various resources that can help you pursue a life of health and wellness. The services here are offered through both outpatient and virtual settings.
I appreciate their compassionate, culturally competent and trauma informed care. For example, one of their programs that really stands out to me is their Latino Services and Human Trafficking Program.
Latino Services provide access to resources, advocacy and other support including Spanish speaking services so that members of this community don’t experience barriers to quality healthcare. Though their Latino Program services are offered in the Easton location, the Denton office can set you up with virtual meetings to join their group meetings.
Their human trafficking program also stands out to me because they serve some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities. This program helps victims overcome the traumatic experiences they’ve faced along with mental health and substance use struggles that they’ve experienced as well.
Through and through, the compassionate and person focused approach to care offered through this organization is one of the most valuable aspects of their programming to me.
You won’t be judged or blamed for the struggles you are experiencing. Instead, you'll be connected to the right resources and evidence based therapies that will help you on your journey to recovery.
Amenities
Art and music are mediums that connect with our feelings, making them a great recovery tool during addiction treatment. Studies show that combining art/music and drug rehab can have a greater therapeutic impact than drug rehab alone, as you’re able to access parts of your brain and body that you may not have access to during traditional talk therapy. Benefits of art/music therapy include lowering stress and anxiety, promoting healthy neurochemicals, and providing stress relief.
Addiction treatment programs provide an opportunity to get your life back on track with access to school classes or college courses. Whether you want to finish your GED or go back to school to learn a new trade, facilities often enlist tutors and teachers who are certified or licensed by the state to oversee self-study or distance-learning education.
Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Benefits include a higher staff-to-client ratio, increased one-on-one time with therapists and healthcare providers, private rooms for clients, and customized forms of therapy.
Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.
Addiction Treatment Programs
During crucial developmental years, addiction can cause cognitive impairment, increase risky behavior, and impair social development. A young adult program in Maryland can help individuals learn to make healthy choices and avoid these downfalls of addiction.
A typical adult program in Maryland offers a private setting for rehabilitation from alcohol or drugs. Treatment often includes group therapy, individual counseling, and family support and may occur in a residential facility or through outpatient care.
EMDR Therapy is a neurobiological treatment modality used to address trauma disorders and related mental and behavioral health challenges. Short for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, EMDR is designed to help clients cope with distressing memories and emotions, including fear, sadness, and anger. EMDR may help clients in addiction recovery manage the psychological and emotional triggers that contribute to substance misuse and/or addiction relapse.
Cognitive behavioral therapists use multiple exercises during cognitive behavioral therapy in Maryland. A combination of imagery-based exposure, behavioral experiments, and thought records can provide effective treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Levels of Care
Outpatient rehab in Maryland is best suited for those who are coping well in recovery but need ongoing treatment. This level of rehab offers accountability and support through regular therapy sessions and support group meetings. It may last for weeks or months, based on your ongoing recovery needs.
If you have both a mental health and substance use disorder, these cannot be treated independently. They interact, so the treatment must be integrated. Dual diagnosis treatment in Maryland is designed to treat both co-occurring disorders.
