Located in suburban Crystal, Minnesota, is the Fairview Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program. This is a clinic that helps adolescents who have a co-occurring diagnosis. Counseling services are available and can help teens and their families get to the root cause of their substance and mental health challenges. There’s also more robust evidence based support, including medication assisted treatment (MAT).
Another element of their care that I find helpful is that because they’re a medical network, they can support you if you have more acute addiction symptoms. This might include dependence on more than one substance, sedatives like benzodiazepines, alcohol, or need long term detox from opioids.
After your evaluation and intake, you'll undergo a thorough assessment to determine the best way the Crystal clinic can serve you. If you need other services in different locations, that can be integrated into your care.
