About Evolve Life Centers

Evolve Life Centers is a CARF accredited recovery house for people who have left inpatient treatment. It is located in Pasadena, Maryland, and offers different levels of step-down care including intensive outpatient treatment and DUI services. Clients can get mental health services through the center’s community partner. They accept some insurance plans, grants and self pay. You’ll pay each week at the house meeting.

Evolve Life gives residents a sense of community and home. They offer monthly house activities, clean and comfortable rooms, peer recovery specialists and addiction experts who provide mentoring.
There’s a full gym and fitness center on site for you to use whenever you wish. I like that Evolve also has connections in the community and can send you job opportunities.

As a resident, you agree to remain clean and sober and take part in drug testing. You can attend any 12 Step programs you choose between five and seven times a week during your stay. None of the meetings are on site, but all are available by bus. You’ll work on the Steps, complete a weekly chore and get a sponsor. You’ll need to follow the curfew and house rules. You must commit to at least five months of treatment.

DUI classes are for first time offenders who only need mild treatment. These are hour-long sessions once a week for 12 weeks.

They also offer gradual step-down services beginning with intensive outpatient care. In this case, you can attend therapy sessions in person or online. This gives you structure and accountability as you progress in your recovery timeline. People start with multiple sessions a week and taper down to once a week for as long as they need.
