About Eskenazi Health Center North Arlington – Closed

Eskenazi Health Center North Arlington was a behavioral health facility that offered outpatient care for substance use disorders (SUDs) with an emphasis on opioid treatment. It was located in Indianapolis, Indiana and was part of the greater Eskenazi Health network, providing specialized care for pregnant and postpartum women, people with gambling addiction, and clients with co occurring disorders. Unfortunately they have now closed this location.

Being located in Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana, there are plenty of healthy recreational activities you can enjoy. From the Indy 500 to catching a Pacers or Colts game on the weekends, you can also visit popular landmarks throughout the city. Monument Circle is the most central point in the city and a key destination for live events like concerts, fireworks and the Christmas tree lighting in the winter.

Medications for Opioid Dependency

I found that this facility specifically offered a Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program which was designed to be a medication assisted treatment solution for people trying to get sober from opioids. This helped to reduce withdrawal symptoms so people could focus on their recovery. The program was offered with dual diagnosis treatment too for individuals who may have had underlying mental health conditions.

If necessary, inpatient treatment was also an option here. If you chose to be admitted, you’d have access to private rooms, nutritious meals, and holistic care for your mental and physical health.

Treatment for Alcohol Addiction and Problem Gambling

Along with the opioid program, this facility treated alcohol dependence and gambling. There were also detoxification programs that are available for alcohol and other drugs if necessary. I discovered that all programs within Eskenazi Health’s behavioral health offerings provided comprehensive counseling which could include individual and group therapy.

This facility also took holistic care seriously and tried to merge mental and physical wellness.

Eskenazi Health accepted Medicare Advantage, Healthy Indiana and Medicaid as well as most private insurance.
