While you’re receiving services, a counselor can provide referrals if a higher level of care is necessary and will also determine whether drinking may be an issue that causes unmanageability in your life. The Links2Health is a program available for individuals with Medi-Cal in Santa Cruz County. What I think is so unique about this program is the support and assistance it provides for individuals who are affected by medication conditions or are experiencing homelessness. They will monitor you throughout the time you are connected to them to make sure you're staying on top of your medication management and follow-up on appointments. They will also provide advocacy, care coordination assistance and supportive services to your family as well.
