About EMASS

EMASS provides services for clients affected by the courts, criminal justice systems and issues like substance abuse and anger. One of their satellite offices is in Hillsboro, Missouri. From here, they offer a range of groups and classes including anger management, domestic violence and DWI/DUI education. They also offer electronic monitoring. Some clients are eligible for financial aid.

You can get a professional substance use evaluation at EMASS. You’ll then be assigned to a level of treatment or an educational program based on your results. EMASS runs different levels of classes including ones that can be completed in just one weekend.

The alcohol and drug education program is a 10-hour program that’s legally required for folks who have been found guilty of alcohol or other offenses. There’s also a version tailored to minors. This class focuses on the effects of substances and consequences of substance use. I like that EMASS offers some online classes on parenting, driver improvement and theft prevention.
