About Elevate Recovery Centers
Since 2020, Elevate Recovery Centers has operated an alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. They have partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive (IOP), and general outpatient care (OP) for folks who don't need to stay overnight. There's also aftercare to make sure your recovery keeps goin' strong after your graduate. They prioritize trauma and individualized practices. You'll find 'em out in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Their partial hospitalization treatment runs seven days a week for six hours each day. This means 42 hours of group and individual counseling each week. This is one option if you’re facing severe substance use disorders but don’t need to go through residential therapy. The program length varies but can last from 21 to 30 days.
Their intensive outpatient care is more flexible and can be as few as four group sessions each week. This is an excellent choice if you’re looking to maintain your everyday routine while receiving treatment. It can also serve as a step down from PHP.
Both programs use similar therapeutic approaches. They deliver clinically proven practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). You’ll also attend one on one sessions with your primary counselor at least once weekly to assess recovery progress and receive support as necessary.
These programs feature experiential and outdoor adventures with your peers. You can do yoga, bicycle outdoors, and just enjoy Mother Nature in all the surrounding natural beauty. The goal is to address negative emotions that can fuel addictions and develop sound coping and relapse prevention techniques.
Health and hygiene education is provided so that you can develop essential skills and start becoming more independent. They also offer psychological evaluation, psychiatric care and medication management services to support those battling with co-occurring disorders.
You’ll ideally step down to general outpatient care upon meeting your recovery goals in the intensive outpatient program. The program involves ongoing group therapy, weekly and biweekly individual meetings with your therapist and 12 Step groups like AA or NA. You’ll also submit to regular drug testing and periodic check-ins by phone. They may refer you to other community resources such as job training, family therapy or medical care through their case management.
They accept Medicaid. Comments from past clients indicate an overall positive experience and incredible quality of care.
