About Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge

Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge helps men and women overcome drug and alcohol addiction and other life controlling problems. Their Men’s Campus is located in Seaford, Delaware, and serves men over 18 who wish to beat life-controlling addictions.

They offer a 12 month residential program that addresses the mind, body and spirit of their residents. They offer scholarships for folks who can’t afford the financial burden of tuition. To qualify, clients must commit to the 12 month length and have financial need.

This program teaches men Biblical principles paired with tools to assist them in their recovery. The program is highly structured and rigorous and includes group studies, personal growth and individualized counseling.

They also offer many different kinds of vocational training programs. Participants will have the chance to choose a vocation they are interested in and get hands-on learning and experience.

The men’s program has three phases. In phase one, participants begin to build a foundation for healing and recovery. They learn how to live in community and the basics of a healthy and productive lifestyle. They will get comfortable maintaining a schedule and having responsibilities.

In phase two, participants begin training. They’ll explore the root issues that led to their addiction. The main focus is becoming empowered to change through a holistic approach. They’ll participate in life skills classes, parenting education, vocational training and academics.

Men will also be able to join community outreach programs. They will serve others and improve their dependability, self-discipline and industry.

The third stage is all about reentry into society. Participants will use the tools they’ve gained and learn how to live independently, nurture healthy relationships and continue their spiritual growth.
