About Cottonwood Springs Mental Health Facility in Olathe
Serving the city of Olathe, Kansas, Cottonwood Springs Mental Health Facility is a large behavioral health organization offering inpatient and outpatient care for adults. All programs are co-occurring mental health and substance abuse treatment. You’ll choose from inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs.
Inpatient drug rehab begins with a comprehensive health assessment and medical detox. This program is ideal for people who want to stay in a facility where they can focus on recovery or may be a danger to themselves or others. If you’re having uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms, medications may be used to ease pain and reduce drug cravings. Therapy sessions will begin during detox and will include support groups and educational workshops.
The partial hospitalization program is five days per week of treatment for up to 12 hours per day. Your time on-site will include group therapy, wellness education, and recreational activities. Families are invited to be a part of their own support groups.
The intensive outpatient program meets three to five times per week for three hours of treatment per day. If you’re in the IOP, you’ll engage in medication management, individual talk therapy, and training and skill building.
Alumni recovery support meetings are available at the facility for continuing with your recovery after treatment.
