About Compass Health Network Rolla
Located around 100 miles from Springfield and St. Louis, Rolla, Missouri offers the safety and charm you’d expect from a small town, with easy access to big-city amenities. Here, you’ll find the Rolla Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), which is part of the greater Compass Health Network. You can visit the center any time of day or night to receive immediate care for a mental health or substance use crisis. They offer hearty meals, warm showers, and clean clothes so you can take care of your basic needs before moving forward in your recovery journey.
You can stay in this cozy environment for up to 23 hours before taking your next step. The care team at the Rolla BHCC will provide immediate triage services, stabilize your physical health, and observe you during your stay. When it’s time to leave, they’ll connect you with other local treatment resources to provide a complete continuum of care.
Most clients move from a BHCC into another program offered by Compass Health Network. This state-wide network delivers a range of treatment services, from inpatient care to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and outpatient counseling. Their comprehensive approach has made them a mainstay throughout Missouri, allowing them to treat clients from all walks of life and different recovery stages.
Known as a community that emphasizes and values the arts, Rolla hosts many concerts, exhibits, and guest lectures annually and is home to the Missouri University of Science and Technology. There are also historical sites to visit, as Rolla’s roots trace back to before the Civil War. Nestled in the lush Ozarks Highland region, there are more than 300 acres of parks and trails to explore when you’re not in treatment.
Referrals to the Rolla BHCC can come through law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, or local hospitals. You can also walk into the clinic on your own when you’re ready to get help.
