About Community Health Core

The Beginning Treatment Center’s Tyler site is a substance abuse treatment program for teens and adults. This is an outpatient treatment program. Staff use a person centered approach. This facility is located in Tyler, Texas.

The person centered treatment approach puts a strong emphasis on your input. In addition to intake and assessment from staff, your treatment plan will be molded based on what you want. You're encouraged to discuss what you believe your strengths and weaknesses are and to suggest ways to improve your treatment plan. Counseling, education, and skills development are the focus of treatment here.

Another plus of this location's approach is the use of motivational interviewing. Through this method, you'll be guided through an exploration of the negative feelings hindering behavioral changes. The process helps you discover your inner strengths and how you can use them to make changes to your mindset and habits to support sobriety and long term recovery.
