About Coleman Professional Services Ravenna

Based in Ravenna, Ohio, this is just one of Coleman Professional Services’ many treatment locations. As a non-profit behavioral and mental health support agency and drug rehab, they provide support for clients of all ages, genders and walks of life. Medicaid and Ohio Medicare are accepted as well as most private insurance providers. A financial assistance program is also available, along with sliding scale fees to those eligible.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at this center offers further support to clients who may have recently completed an inpatient program, or a medically supervised detox. It’s also recommended for individuals with more severe or persistent addiction issues, or those who may have struggled with relapse.

Individual and group therapy are included with IOP meetings taking place over nine hours each week. Individualized assessment, treatment planning, and case management are also included, with Vivitrol-led medication-assisted treatment (MAT) available for those who need it. The center’s focus on client-centered care means individuals are encouraged to provide weekly feedback to counselors throughout their recovery.

Step-down care is also available through the center’s outpatient program. Clients can tackle this program straight away, or transition to it from IOP for more flexibility. In terms of contents, it offers much the same as IOP, including MAT, as well as psychiatry services. Telehealth services are also available, which is ideal for individuals who may be unable to attend regular in-person sessions.

The center also offers a specialized initiative for mothers and women struggling with addiction, called the Embrace Program. Support is also available to pregnant individuals, with care including MAT, as well as help finding stable work, housing, and anything else that might help them get back on their feet.

Aftercare services are also provided here. Offered as weekly group therapy, these take place for up to two hours per week. Former clients may also access employment support services to help them reintegrate back into the work force and land a stable job.
