The third option East House provides is permanent supportive housing. This is for folks who are ready to live independently and only need a light touch from East House staff. If you are ready for freedom but want to keep a gentle tie to your recovery support, this may be a great option for you.
East House offers financial case managers and recovery support staff that can help you find and keep an apartment. They’ll work with you to create a financial wellness plan to get out of debt and build credit. They can help you with food stamps and disability benefits and teach you money management skills. If you need it, they can give you referrals to financial wellness community partners.
