About Chileda

Chileda – Residential Care Center is a La Crosse, Wisconsin residential care provider serving ages six to 21 with complex mental health and developmental disabilities as well as co-occurring behavioral issues such as substance use.

The program offers 24 hour therapeutic care for clients with severe medical needs and challenging behaviors who require highly structured support.

I noted their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps each client build independence and self sufficiency at their own pace.

Complex Developmental and Co-occurring Substance Care

Chileda's core specialty is residential services for children and young adults whose needs cannot be met in a traditional home, foster care, or community setting.

Each resident receives customized programming that combines educational services and behavior support, therapy services, and medical care within a structured home like environment.

With around-the-clock supervision the residential team focuses on daily sober living skills training and community integration to foster greater independence.

Care is customized to address complex medical and behavioral challenges which I know helps each client grow and thrive.

Adult Family Homes and Community-Based Support

Chileda also offers Adult Family Homes which are community based residential settings for adults with significant disabilities who need ongoing daily living support.

These home like environments promote independence, community involvement, and an improved quality of life for the clients they serve.
