About CASA Recovery

CASA Recovery is a supportive healing environment for people dealing with complex trauma, mental health distress and addiction among other things. They’re located in San Juan Capistrano, California. They provide LBGTQ+ inclusive care in Orange County. At Casa, you get access to a comprehensive healing center with modern amenities and compassionate care.

Most insurance companies cover the treatments provided by CASA Recovery. Their reps will be happy to do a free insurance assessment for you to find out your coverage.

Each person is a unique individual with a range of needs. That's why every client at Casa gets a personalized treatment plan that looks at the whole picture. Casa specializes in treating depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar, and other mental health disorders. I like that they have a specialized approach to treating trauma through cutting-edge techniques including brainspotting and somatic experiencing.

Our brains store traumatic memories and emotions in locations called brainspots. Experienced clinicians can help you release emotional pain and process complex memories by identifying and working through these spots.

Casa offers dual diagnosis care for people who have substance abuse and mental illnesses. This may include medication, psychotherapy, group counseling and alternative therapies. Things such as yoga, breath work, art therapy and meditation can be added to traditional psychotherapy. Many people respond really well to integrating mind body exercises, especially to work through trauma.

They also feature psychiatric treatment for mental health conditions. This begins with a clinical diagnosis to better understand the emotional and physical pieces of the puzzle. Factors like your family history and genetics will play a role in your symptoms. Psychiatrists usually use different types of treatment compared to psychotherapists. This might include electroconvulsive therapy and pharmaceutical medications.

Casa offers detox and residential treatment for substance use disorders. You'll receive daily individual in group therapy sessions and learn how to use positive coping methods to prevent relapse. I like that the staff at Casa work to figure out the underlying issues that affect addiction. They look at all aspects of your life including your academic and professional past, your family when growing up, and your current social circles. Holistic treatments to treat addiction may include nutritional counseling, physical fitness, breathwork, and meditation.
