About Capital Recovery Center

Capital Recovery Center provides outpatient substance abuse treatment in Olympia, Washington. Your recovery starts with a mental health assessment. A peer mental health professional will speak to you and walk you through the evaluation steps.

The team assigns a counselor who will meet with you each week. Individual counseling sessions can help uncover the root causes of your addiction while you work on developing healthier coping skills, recognizing substance use triggers and learning relapse prevention methods.

You’ll also set recovery goals that help you maintain a focus on sobriety. Together with your counselor, you will review your progress and update your goals depending on your unique needs.

Peer-led groups give you time with others in recovery who understand your journey. They may have similar backgrounds and experiences with addiction challenges. These groups provide a network of support for your recovery.

They understand that you need nourishment during recovery and have a cafe that offers lunch. There are also other support groups you can attend for more sober lifestyle options.

If you need medication to support your recovery then they can refer you to their Olympia clinic location. They have medication available with same-day visits to get you started with the help you need as soon as possible. A medical provider is on staff to ensure you get the most benefit from the medication. You can also meet with a peer recovery coach there or choose an off-site location at another time.

They can connect you with outside resources like housing through their case management assistance. A care manager can help with insurance, employment, financial resources and healthcare. The goal is to provide the tools you need to overcome addiction for good and become a productive member of your community.
