Baystate Health Tolosky Center is a medical center providing behavioral health services in Springfield, Massachusetts. However, it does not provide substance abuse care. Baystate Noble Hospital (BNH) provides the Opiate Task Force which is specifically designed to provide treatment and aftercare for people brought to the emergency department because of an overdose. I like that this group works to provide immediate substance use disorder evaluation, and that they coordinate with a crisis team to provide immediate medication assisted treatment (MAT) and transitional support to a withdrawal maintenance support network.
EMPOWER for Pregnant Women
Another program the Baystate Health Tolosky Center can refer you to is EMPOWER, a program specifically designed to treat pregnant women suffering from opioid use disorder (OUD) or with a history of overdose. The goal is to end opioid use, prevent relapse, and help your baby be born healthy.
