There is an admissions criteria that must be met. You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Massachusetts. They also have an order of priority admission. The order is Hispanic men, African American men, LGBTQIIA+, homeless men, men involved in the criminal justice system and men with disabilities.

Upon admission, you have a full mental health and substance use assessment. The assessment will help staff determine the best level of care for you and develop your treatment plan.

You are going to be living in a daily structured environment. Your schedule will include clinical services, recreational services and case management. Clinical services include counseling in individual and group settings as well as educational sessions on substance abuse and relapse prevention. Access to case management will be available so you can coordinate all of your services.

They also provide mental health counseling on-site so you can address any co-occurring issues like anxiety or depression that might be contributing to your substance use. Your care team will determine any other services you may qualify for, which can include medication monitoring, psychiatric assessments, psychoeducational courses and more.
