About Aviary Recovery Center Kirkwood

The Aviary Recovery Center is located in Kirkwood, Missouri. An intensive outpatient program is offered for adults. Physicians and nurses will be part of the program. They help manage any medical conditions and provide medical supervision. Most insurances are accepted. If you need acute care, they have a residential site in Eola.

I like that the schedule of the intensive outpatient program allows for you to still attend college and work. The program is attended three to five days per week for three hours per day. The program is designed to help you build skills for long term sobriety. The program may last a few months in length.

The program provides education. You will learn about your addiction, family dynamics, and medical implications. Process groups are also available. These groups allow to share and learn about what has and hasn’t worked for others.

I like that family participation is encouraged. They developed a family wellness program. The program was designed to provide the families and significant others with education and social support. Through this service they help to promote healing and recovery for your loved ones.

They do allow tobacco smoking. There’ll be smoking breaks throughout the program. Electronic devices are not allowed on campus. You must leave them in your car or at home. They do have rules in regards to clothing. Although you’re able to dress in comfort, your clothing must not be revealing or inappropriate.
