About Austin Addiction and Mental Health Center
The Austin Addiction and Mental Health Center was located in a private residential area of Frederick, Maryland. It has now permanently closed its doors. They used to provide substance abuse and co-occurring mental illness treatment for adults. They also had DWI education.
When they were open, they provided programs for adults and young adults. Treatment was provided in individual, family and group sessions. it all depended on each person’s needs. Licensed mental health counselors worked with you so you could live your best life. People with mental health issues could be treated for both here.
The DUI and DWI classes were for anyone who was convicted of driving under the influence in Maryland. There were two options: a 12-hour and a 26-week course. People who had a history of past DWI charges needed the longer course. They were accredited by The Joint Commission.
