About Arista Recovery Paola
Arista Recovery Paola is an upscale inpatient facility on 38 serene acres in Paola, Kansas. Adult residents of Paola and the surrounding areas can participate in a unique blend of holistic and proven therapeutic approaches for addiction, mental health and co-occurring disorders.
With inpatient rehab, you live on campus while receiving immersive care around the clock. Their program provides a luxurious home away from home to focus solely on healing. You’ll benefit from an individualized treatment plan that meets you where you are in recovery. They offer the chance to gain sobriety while exploring new coping strategies and interests. Individual and group therapy with various techniques, addiction education, holistic interventions and more are available.
One standout feature is their wonderful amenities and accommodations. With almost 40 acres of breathtaking farmland, you’ll have a relaxing space for reflection and restoration. You can enjoy spacious bedrooms for privacy as well as bright, common areas and group rooms to share and connect with peers. They also offer premium amenities including nutritious meals, a hair salon, a movie theater, a gardening center, a fitness center and more.
For me, their experiential therapies really caught my eye. You can participate in equine therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, wilderness therapy, horticultural therapy and more. I think sand tray therapy is one of their most interesting ones. This talk therapy helps you work through past challenging events and trauma while playing with sand. If you’re struggling with co-occurring disorders then sand tray therapy could offer a meditative, relaxing experience to cope with your conditions and overcome them.
Most former clients reported great satisfaction with their services. Many commended their empathetic staff, beautiful facility and dedication to setting them up for success in recovery.
Keep in mind that recovery is different for everyone. The experiences of others can influence your decision. But be sure to do your own research and consider your needs to find the best care for you.
