Archway Counseling provides outpatient substance use services for court involved folks in Morganton, North Carolina. They primarily offer Driving While Impaired (DWI) services and Department of Transportation (DOT) assessments. They also have limited services for substance use disorder. You must get a substance use assessment if you’re convicted of a DWI. You must also complete either an education program or a treatment program. This program aims to prevent alcohol or drug problems and the related health issues they can cause. They can provide treatment and education reviews and approval for people who completed these programs outside North Carolina.
You’ll need a DOT assessment if you violate drug or alcohol regulations while working safety sensitive jobs like truck drivers or bus operators. It’s a mandatory step to get back to work after such an incident.
