About Adams Recovery Center Mens Program
Adams Recovery Center is an alcohol and drug treatment facility located in Loveland, Ohio. This is the address for their residential men’s program in nearby New Richmond. The organization is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Insurance is accepted including Medicaid. I do like that they are also part of the VA community care program. If you are uninsured then you will have the option to self pay for your treatment.
Men and women 18 years of age and older can receive either residential or outpatient treatment. I like that although the facility is co-ed, men and women have separate programs. Since they provide different levels of care, you’ll undergo an assessment to determine the best level of care for you. The assessment will also help create your individualized treatment plan.
Their residential program is 60 to 90 days in length. Food will be provided. Breakfast is continent style while lunch and dinner are catered. I like that you will have a structured daily schedule. While you will have free time, they keep you pretty busy as they believe too much idle time can lead to intrusive thoughts.
As part of your daily schedule, you’ll attend sober support meetings and group therapies. You will also have daily chores to accomplish. Your point of contact will be your counselor, who you will meet with on a weekly basis. If you smoke then they have designated smoking areas.
Their outpatient program is 12 weeks in length but you can continue weekly therapy sessions as long as you need to. Some clients have been attending weekly therapy for two years. I like that they provide a flexible schedule with different dates and times. This allows you to receive the services you need based on your schedule.
If needed and you’re interested, the organization has partnered with MedMark for medication assisted treatment (MAT). You’ll be able to receive a prescription for FDA approved medications to help manage withdrawal symptoms and ease your cravings. They also have onsite physicians, medical assistants and nursing assistants to provide medical services. They are able to help navigate any issues or concerns you may have when it comes to your health.
