About Zukoski Center
The Zukoski Center of The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center is located in Birmingham, Alabama. Adult men and women can receive intensive outpatient services. Medicaid is an insurance they accept. I like that they will not turn you away for not having insurance. Their fees are based on a sliding fee scale.
The intensive outpatient program is voluntary. You must be conscious and coherent to be admitted. Having transportation is also a requirement.
You will have your own individual treatment, therefore, the length of the program will depend on you. The counselors will assist you in confronting your addiction and help you restructure your life without the drugs. The program will require your commitment and total abstinence.
Your individual therapy sessions are one hour long. I like that for group sessions, you have the option to attend day or evening sessions. Both sessions are three days per week, with three hours per session.
