About YWCA North Central Indiana South Bend
YWCA North Central Indiana South Bend in South Bend, Indiana, is a community care facility that serves women and mothers who are seeking mental, physical and spiritual support to empower their lives. This facility offers services in an outpatient setting. They have a designated program if you’re struggling with a substance use disorder as well. You will not be denied care because of an inability to pay.
At the heart of their substance use program is the 16 step recovery and empowerment model. This model takes a holistic approach to recovery. You'll work with a team of counselors and support staff who will empower you to build healthy habits for success. Weaved into this model is individual and group counseling support. You'll also be encouraged to tap into your spiritual side as this will help you draw support from a higher power.
You'll get connected to other community programs including 12 Step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Through these programs, you'll have a community of peers you can lean on when you’re facing challenges in your recovery.
I appreciate that you'll find compassionate and judgment free care here. You'll also get connected to services if you’re experiencing domestic violence or have experienced trauma such as sexual assault.
They also have a safe haven program that can connect you to resources like housing, education support and life skills training. Through this program, you'll gain the knowledge and educational support to build healthy habits and pursue a sober lifestyle.
