About The Youth Council
Located in Nashua, New Hampshire, The Youth Council is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center for youth. Programs include outpatient services, juvenile court diversion programs, peer recovery support services, outreach services, school programs, counseling, and aftercare.
The Youth Council supports youth with mental health and substance use problems in middle schools, high schools, and in the community. Their counselors offer emotional support, mental health and substance use education, short term counseling, and referrals to outside services. Project Succeed supports youth who have been suspended from school, and the juvenile court diversion program helps youth by providing assessments and referrals to healthcare and community partners.
Accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to provide mental health and addiction treatment services. Services are offered at little or no cost as programs are funded through state and local funding sources.
