About Youth Care Treatment Center
Youth Care Treatment Center is located in Draper, Utah. This organization provides compassionate care to teenagers ages 13-17 who are experiencing behavioral health struggles. They also offer dedicated care if your child's experiencing a substance use disorder. They have a residential treatment program, day treatments, and access to continuing care services.
They accept policies from most major insurance providers. Speak with your provider because out of network benefits may apply.
The substance abuse treatment program is designed to help meet your child's needs. Your child will undergo a thorough evaluation to determine the right program for their unique struggles. The treatments offered here are rooted in evidence based practices. Depending on their circumstances, they can start on medication management. A customized medication regimen will help them better navigate the withdrawal symptoms and cravings they'll experience throughout recovery.
When their body reaches a point of stabilization, they'll be able to benefit from the therapy services offered here. With individual therapy, they’ll work with an addiction counselor who will help them build the skills they need for success. They’ll learn how to manage stressful emotions and how to identify and avoid triggers that have contributed to their drug use.
These skills will continue to develop through group therapy. I appreciate that in group therapy, your child will work alongside other peers. This will help them feel as though they have a pillar of support they can turn to when they need it.
Therapies offered here include dialectical (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Music therapy and recreational therapy are also available. With these approaches, they'll build healthy habits for sustainable sobriety.
Other supports include family counseling, experiential therapy, and community service activities. There's also an accredited academic program.
