Drugs and Mental Health Treatment for Worcester County Residents

To get started with CCS, they ask you to call their phone line to set up an appointment. CCS accepts medical assistance, medicare, and private insurers. If you aren’t “in network” with CCS, they’ll provide options that fit your situation. If you’re currently uninsured, they can help you explore eligibility for entitlement programs.

If you are an adolescent or adult experiencing issues with SUD, you can access treatment at this facility. Their program offers individual and group therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient services, as well as referral services for those who are seeking detox and inpatient treatment services. One thing I also noted is that this facility offers a DWI education program, as well as dual diagnosis services.

CCS also offers outpatient mental health services for adults in Worcester county. In addition to dual diagnosis, this facility specializes in the treatment of conditions such as mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and psychosis. Therapeutic modalities such as medication evaluation and management, individual therapy, group therapy, and couples therapy are available.

I really appreciate that CCS’s services extend beyond standard outpatient services into programs such as their psychiatric rehabilitation program that’s designed to help develop habits such as coping skills and self care to integrate a comprehensive psychiatric care model into the realities of your professional and social life.

Outdoor Exploration Opportunities to Aid Self Care

Snow Hill is a small town located right on the Pocomoke River, known for its state park of the same name. While receiving treatment at CCS, you can explore hiking, camping, boating, and fishing opportunities ranging from Pocomoke River itself all the way to Assateague island located just 30 to 40 minutes away. When embarking on your recovery journey, quality time in beautiful outdoor locales can aid you in your process.
