Veterans looking for special support may find it at VETcare Oregon. This Salem, Oregon based facility offers several assistance and treatment programs to male veterans, including substance use disorder care. It's a residential setting for vets who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless as well as those exiting incarceration. It houses 30 clients at a time.

The program helps individuals develop recovery and self support skills for the challenges they face. In exchange, they must pay part of their income to maintain the program. The program will prepare you for a new future of self sufficiency.
