In 1986, the West Texas Counseling and Rehabilitation was founded by a dedicated medical professional committed to helping those struggling with drug addiction. Today, this organization has grown to provide services in ten locations throughout the great state of Texas.

Their San Angelo location continues to be a location that provides quality care to men and women who are ready to start treatment for their opioid use disorder. They accept commercial insurance policies along with Medicaid and Medicare.

The services they provide are outpatient services such as medication assisted treatment using methadone and buprenorphine, counseling services to help you work through complex emotions, and medically supervised withdrawal to taper off the medication support when appropriate.

What I appreciate most about this organization is that it goes beyond just being your traditional MAT clinic. The care team here will take the time to understand what your struggles are, where you're at with your recovery, and what the best way to move forward might be for you.

I also appreciate how flexible they are with the services they offer. For example, you can walk in at any time to start treatment or you can schedule your appointment ahead of time. Either way, the team here is ready to work with you whenever you are.
