About West Sound Treatment Center

You’ll find West Sound Treatment Center in the city of Bremerton, Washington. It’s an outpatient treatment center that helps adults overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Here you’ll find an intensive outpatient program, intensive community support, medication assisted treatment, and alcohol and drug information school. A Low Cost and Flexible Treatment Program

In the intensive outpatient program, you’ll participate in individual and group counseling sessions for ten to 12 hours per week. All treatment sessions are individualized and may include interim and harm reduction services to meet you exactly where you are.

You’ll learn how to create a structured routine and develop relapse prevention skills. Official assessments are given for DUI and CPS needs. All Drug and Alcohol Information School classes are held on the first Saturday of every month from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This class will help you take steps toward better decision making, help you learn how to recognize the signs of addiction, and how changes occur in stages.

The REAL Program Engages Community Members

West Sound Treatment Center facilitates the REAL (recovery, empowerment, advocacy, and linkage) that helps people at risk for encounters with law enforcement and first responders. REAL team members go out into the community, make connections, and provide assessments to determine needs. People may be connected to services, receive recovery coaching, recovery long term care management, or receive recovery support services.

There are mixed opinions on the services at West Sound Treatment Center. One former client said this facility is one of the better places to go. Another person said they did not receive a fair assessment.
